Abstract
The breakup of Yugoslavia during the 1990’s was in part caused by long standing ethnic strife in regions of the country. What is clear is that ethnic distrust between the country’s ethnic Albanian Muslim minority and the Macedonian Greek Orthodox majority became a focal point.
